1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve records, conduct an official background check, or submit documents on another person's behalf.

Its purpose is to identify the offices that hold Tazewell County records, including the Sheriff's Office, Circuit Clerk, Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification, and Illinois Sex Offender Registry, and to provide links to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Use automated scrapers, bots, or similar tools on these pages
• Violate a local, Illinois, or federal law through your use of the site
• Attempt unauthorized access to the site's systems
• Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. Our advertising partners likewise do not offer site services designed for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit judgments. You must not use information from this site or a linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
